Why we built this

HEIC is a brilliant format — iPhone photos take up about half the space of the equivalent JPG. But that brilliance falls apart the moment you need to send, upload, or open those photos on a Windows PC, an Android phone, or any website that doesn't understand HEIC.

We kept running into that exact wall: a dozen iPhone photos that refused to upload to a form, email, or old photo editor. Every "free" online converter we found was either painfully slow, limited to a few files, or — worse — uploaded our private photos to some server.

So we built the tool we wished existed: a batch HEIC to JPG converter that is fast, free,unlimited, and 100% private — because every conversion happens locally, on your own device. Nothing is ever uploaded.
